In this world today, everybody has a “truth.” My truth trumps your truth trumps their truth. It can go on and on with no resolution, but can cause chaos and mistrust. Where do we turn? We turn to God for truth!
When something does not resonate in your spirit, turn to the breathed Word of God for your answers: the Bible. The Bible needs to be constantly re-read for clarity on what ground to stake your ground.
There are Christian religions that are now preaching that Jesus is only one way to God, and that there are many ways to God. What does the Word of God say?
“Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
Read that again. Let those words sink into your mind and spirit. This is the true Word of God, and it cannot be mistaken or reinvented to mean anything other than what it says.
I hear people say that there is no hell, and that Jesus is only love. “He would never punish any good person to hell.” There are multiple scriptures where Jesus warns of impending hell in eternity for those who do not repent of their sinful ways.
“There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves are thrown out.” Luke 13:28
Read Luke – Jesus is trying to warn the people about entering the kingdom of heaven!
“The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.” Matthew 13:41-43
You have ears to hear! Listen only to what the Holy Spirit reveals to you. Study the Word of God. It is especially important in these last days of false prophets.
Pray for all who distort His Word. Pray that God will open their eyes to see and their ears to hear. Time is short on this earth, but our life in heaven will never end. We must do everything we can to live a life pleasing to God and draw others to His great love.
